DARLINGTON — The Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School's competition cheer team won the SCISA 3A Division 1 State Championship Nov. 14 at the Sumter Civic Center Posted on Thursday, November 12, 2020 For the second year, the Trinity Collegiate School Competitive Cheer Team, coached by Katy McCoy, won the SCISA State Championship. The Titans competed in the 3A Competitive Division II The purpose of the League is to formulate and maintain policies in accordance with its mission and beliefs that will: safeguard the educational values of interscholastic athletic competition; advance high ideals of sportsmanship; develop and direct a program which will promote, protect and conserve the health and physical welfare of all.
First Baptist cheerleading won its fifth consecutive state championship at the SCISA state competition earlier this month. The Hurricanes cheer squad captured the gametime cheer division title. The Cathedral Academy varsity competition cheerleading squad took its second division 2A state runner-up title in a row at the 2011 SCISA State Cheerleading Competition Readers Choice 2020. The NCA Cheerleading Program and Coach Kelley were excited to welcome a lot of new girls to the team this year bringing the squad to 17 girls for the 2020 season. The squad is built of a diverse group of girls with 5 returning cheerleaders and 12 new cheerleaders, ranging from 6th grade to 12th grade. The focus of 2020-2021 is bringing more.
